This week everyone sorta took a break from things. Something of a reset, if you will. Initially, I was tasked with getting started on some the models for props, but after todays meeting, we switched gears a bit and I will be working with Jace on nailing down the layout of the domicile. Once the floorplan is decided, we'll use some of the reference materials on our board to clip and place around the home to get a feel for where all these assets will exist. The artists of the group will be working on refining the characters and storyboards using the input we had received. We also started mapping out production pipeline a bit. As far as I can tell, we will be using UE5 for environments, lighting, some effects, and rendering. Texturing will be done in Substance. Modeling will be in both Maya and ZBrush. Editing will be in Adobe Premier. As for rigging and animation, we are still tossing around a few ideas, but we may make use of the Metahuman Creator, maybe some mocap. We'll see. There is no new imagery to share, so I suppose I'll leave it at that. Until next time...
